Dr. Simon Abi Aad

Dr. Simon Abi Aad is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology/hematology with special interest in public policy, patient advocacy and cancer care delivery to patients. Dr. Abi Aad earned his medical degree from the Université Saint Esprit de Kaslik Faculté de Médecine (Jounieh, Lebanon) during which he studied and did clerkships at several French institutions including Université François Rabelais and Xavier-Bichat University Hospital in Paris. He then went on to complete a research internship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in leukemia and cardio-oncology before finishing his Internal Medicine Residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai – St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center (New York, NY) during which he had extensive rotations at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where he successfully took part in lung cancer research. After his residency, Dr. Abi Aad was awarded a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Miami – Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (Miami, FL).

As a cancer researcher, Dr. Simon Abi Aad is actively engaged in clinical studies and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. He is a grant recipient for breast cancer studies. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, sports and the beach.
