Mohammad Jahanzeb is Professor of Clinical Medicine, Hematology Oncology at University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Jahanzeb currently serves as the Medical Director of UM Sylvester Deerfield Campus and an Associate Director of Community Outreach for the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. An international lecturer on issues related to breast and lung cancers, Dr. Jahanzeb has given more than 900 lectures as an invited speaker and has authored or contributed to more than 200 original reports, book chapters, reviews, and abstracts. Dr. Jahanzeb is board certified in medical oncology and limits his practice, as well as clinical research, to cancers of the lung and breast. He received his medical degree with high honors from King Edward Medical College at the University of Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan.
Dr. Jahanzeb is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a Fellow of American Society of Clinical Oncology, and belongs to several professional societies including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, where he serves as the Chair for Quality Oncology Practice Initiative Steering Task Force and is the founding Chair for their task force for International Quality Efforts (iQuality). He is currently a member of the FLASCO Board of Directors where he has previously served as the Chair of its Continuing Medical Education Committee for 3 years. He has also previously served on the Board of Directors and the Expert Panels for Lung Cancer and Breast Cancer of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network between 2003 and 2013.
